got wet
25 August 2005

I am so proud of my finished product for my how-to speech in English. Hehehehe! I decorated a notebook with the use of kacha and paint. However, I wasn't called earlier to present, pero ok lang, I didn't really care.

I got to eat/taste a lot of food today. Wahahaha! First, I tasted Pancit Malabon from Leslie's plate. Then, Seska, Ezeck and I bought food sa likod ng Main Bldg. I bought a club house kasi sabi ni Mr. Chen, masarap daw. Masarap nga!!! After that, I tasted rin a Ref Cake from Kim. Wah! Ang sarap, matamis kasi!!! Cookies yata yung ginamit eh. Basta masarap! Lastly, yung little Banana Cake from Ezeck. Shiyet! Medyo Medyo masarap din. Ngayon lang kaya ako nakatikim ng ganon!!! Hahahaha!

I got soaked because it was raining nung pauwi na kami. I think I'm getting sick!

Before I forget, ang saya kanina! Matet predicted my future in love life. According to the cards, I tend to give more priority to career rather than romance. Totoo naman! Then, another hula, I asked a yes/no question tapos shuffled the cards seven times and knocked at them thrice. I asked if the person, who caused the change in my password, and I would be happily together someday. The answer is YES!!! Whoohoo!!!

samurai
11 August 2005

I was reading stuff about Japanese soldiers, ang saya. I didn't know that samurai's were caused by two opposing clans.

"The Japanese samurai warriors came into existence in the 12th century when two powerful Japanese clans fought bitter wars against each other - the Taira and the Minamato. At that time the Japanese shogunate, a system of a military ruler, called the shogun was formed. Under the shogun the next hierarchy were the daimyo, local rulers comparable to dukes in Europe. The Japanese samurai were the military retainers of a daimyo. And finally you may have heard of ronin. Ronin are samurai without a master. This is what happened to the 47 Ronin in the famous story of Chushingura after their lord was forced to commit suicide."

debut ko?
08 August 2005

I was never excited about my debut! Ewan ko ba, parang, yeah, I'm celebrating my 18th year of existence, so what? It's not a big deal. However, preparing for everything really ruined my week; I had to sleep late, go here and there alone and the worst part, it kept my mind working non-stop for the whole week.

Moving on, the day itself was a hell day. I had to wake up at 4 am to get my cousin from the airport and bring him to Novaliches. Afterwards, I had to buy myself a bouquet and 18 roses from Dangwa. After that, I went home to get my stuff and brought it in the hotel, Aberdeenn Court. It was only after that that I started preparing myself. i went to the salon, had my nails done, went home then left, again, to the salon to have my hair and make-up done. Jarl and Debs picked me up, then we went back to the hotel where Chrissie's waiting. Yada-yada-yada...

During my debut and weeks after, ang sagwa ng boses ko. Bwahahaha!!! Hindi na ulit ako magpapaka-stress!!! ....skip ko muna yung debut

We drove Bea, Milet and Missy to Cubao, where they are staying for the night. Then, Kuya Nok, dropped us off n the hotel. We changed clothes then, at about 2 am, we hailed a cab to Sibil in Tomas Morato. Danced. Partied. Laughed.

We went back to the hotel at around 4 am, it was rainging cats and rats. Badtrip!

Reconnect
02 August 2005

I'm chatting with my first crush right now. Hahahaha!!! He's sad because he's away from his friends. Kawawa naman! Totoo nga yung saying na, pag may masayang tao, may malungkot. Hehehehe!!! I told him that I had a crush on him nung third grade, he just laughed. Anyway, I'd like to quote this specific sentence he told me, "walang kwenta ang ganda kung hindi ka masaya." Hahahahaha!!! Corny yet true!!!

Blue Sky

When do stars fade their light?
Does the moon and the sun make it right
For you the world maybe
Like an endless storm chasing a mystery

Is there hate in your heart?
Does your body drop and tell you to stop
Loving you or loving me
When it all falls down you just sing with me

Coz there's a blue sky waiting tomorrow
Waiting tomorrow shining and shimmering
A blue sky waiting tomorrow
Waiting tomorrow
Maybe it's all we need

Oh don't you wash away that smile
You just look out the window and see the light
It's beautiful to be alive
It's wonderful to live a life

The sun is sure to shine
For you and me for everyone
So don't be sad it's just the start
Of a new beginning in your life

Rain will keep on pouring
Some things you can't control
And while the sun seems far and hard to hold
It will unfold

There will always be a blue sky
A blue sky waiting tomorrow

Harry Sullivan
01 August 2005

As I was researching about Harry Stack Sullivan, I was amused and got stimulated by his idea of Personification.

"Personifications are mental images that allow us to better understand ourselves and the world. There are three basic ways we see ourselves that Sullivan called the bad-me, the good-me and the not-me. The bad-me represents those aspects of the self that are considered negative and are therefore hidden from others and possibly even the self. The anxiety that we feel is often a result of recognition of the bad part of ourselves, such as when we recall an embarrassing moment or experience guilt from a past action. The good-me is everything we like about ourselves. It represents the part of us we share with others and that we often choose to focus on because it produces no anxiety. The final part of us, called the not-me, represents all those things that are so anxiety provoking that we can not even consider them a part of us. Doing so would definitely create anxiety which we spend our lives trying to avoid. The not-me is kept out of awareness by pushing it deep into the unconscious."
