Manong George, this great guy who trains us, often tell us for these past few days that, "We are the best team. However, the best doesn't always win!" It's the saddest truth right now.
V, ex-Science player, told me last night that we won: "From the start pa lang panalo na kayo!" She even congratulated us before she left last night.
Anyway, my point is that, yes, we may have lost the game but in every aspect - the team itself, the play we played, the friendships we have created, the clean games we had, the undefeated slot in the elims, the trainers we have, the ex-players who continuously help us, all the other friends who journeyed with the team, our team captain, our Marga, Donna, Mariel, Mercy, Daphne, and Joann, our wonderful keeper - WE ARE REALLY WINNERS.
