Continue with Med or not?
Earlier at 1:00 am, I was studying anatomy for our 100-item long quiz later at 1:00 pm. As I came across the recurrent laryngeal nerve, I started to rethink my chances of being a doctor.
It's been three HARD, STRESSFUL, LOOOONG weeks in Med school and as of now, I haven't had a decent test score among almost 20 quizzes in varous subject. Three freaking weeks and still not a single score that I should rejoice about. It really made me rethink my reasons for even dreaming to become a physician.
So after several seconds, I came up with SIX reasons to STUDY, to STUDY HARD!
- Php 90,OOO+ Tuition Fee which causes my parents SOOO MUCH of everything.
- My Auntie Susan's belief that I COULD FINISH.
- My boyfriend who would do anything to keep me from oversleeping. Hehehe.
- Having an M.D. happens to be my ultimate dream.
- For my future patients who deserves nothing but the proper medical treatment.
- Lastly, because the Philippines is too sad already so I WANT TO BECOME THE CHANGE THAT I WANT TO SEE.
I don't know why nobody told me that studying Med is HARD so as for those who doesn't know, MED IS HARD. However, nothing great would come out if everything came easy.
So, if you guys want your dreams to come true (this goes for Med and Law students), DON'T EVEN DARE TO SLEEP. May be literal in some cases.
OR BETTER YET, TAKE A POWER NAP BUT DO NOT STOP DREAMING.
